Dr. E. I. Boaz, 71, retired from Mineral Wells Texas, was charged with the murder of Sgt. Elmer Shaffer 1/C at Wolters Air Force Base near Mineral Wells. District Attorney Sam Cleveland said Shaffer’s wife and four children witnessed the shooting.
