AIGUES-VIVES France June 18 former president and twice prime minister Gaston Doumergue died today at 73 in his native village. He had lived in retirement among vineyards since leaving Paris November 15 1934 after a second term as prime minister. Known as Papa Dougmergue he was the first Protestant president of the third republic and was married to Jeanne Grave shortly before leaving the Elysee in 1931.

Jury Drops Charge Against Film Extra Patricia Douglas

ELKINS June 18 William Nusbaum of Clarksburg was charged in a federal indictment with a $5,000 shortage as trustee in bankruptcy. Indictments were returned earlier this week against Nusbaum and two others. they were held until brought to Randolph county jail to await trial. Also named were Paul Simpson of Parkersburg for withholding $50 from a bankruptcy receiver and William E How ard, former Blacks ville postmaster, for embezzlement of $490.78 in postal funds.

Swisher Arrested on Delinquency Complaint
Glenn Swisher of West Washington street was arrested on a warrant after a girl 16 accused him of contributing to her delinquency. Constable John Snider fetched the 20 year old from Belington to Grafton.
