Repeal Plan Is Preferred
Chicago June 15 Mrs Mable Walker Willebrandt a long time proponent of prohibition argues at a radio talk that if the Republican convention leans to repeal the platform should declare for repeal not only a vague reference to resubmission She insists there is no direct way to submit a constitutional revision and that any change would require a new amendment ratified by three fourths of the state legislatures She says the convention appears wet and that resolutions may favor change but the election will hinge on jobs and restarting industry rather than prohibition policy
