Court Opens In Morning for Cozard Versus Feed and Storage Co
The county circuit court in Renga opens tomorrow morning with J W Cozard versus The Feed and Storage Co as the initial suit. Attorneys say Cozard sues for about 510,000 claiming back pay at 6 per day, while he asserts he only received 3 60 for three to four years. Cozard says he drove a delivery wagon for the concern, separating from them about a year ago, and seeks 5 a day for services. The case was noted today. A prohibition case against Bar T Lynch resulted in a 90 day sentence released on bond after appeal. Harvey A Tobias versus Union Mortgage Company involving Grafton and Taylor counties was referred to attorney Guy Allender. N C Musgrove versus Boyd Lindsey was disposed of as Lindsey failed to appear, judgment for Musgrove at 548. A 2,000 damage suit, Benjamin F McVicker versus Ellsworth Croston, is set for Saturday.
