No Rain Signs Defy Weather Expectations
A weather note reports no rain in the area for at least 24 hours with barometer at 29 inches and a forecast that a fall in pressure may hint at rain. Frost occurred in county last night with no damage, while farmers complain of ongoing dry conditions and limited crop growth except where artificial watering is used in the city. An easterly wind is cited as a potential rain indicator, though signs have largely failed this season.
