Baseball Fight In League Looms
Washington leader Clark Griffith refused to play today with Chicago in the heat of the period saying the home club could postpone a postponed game. He denied infield weakness and pitching issues caused the delay. Johnson of the American League said Washington faced forfeiture only if the postponed game could be cited as a factory reason for not playing and was not a valid justification.
