College Boy Sentenced To Die In Gas Chamber
In Phoenix on July 18 a jury sentenced 22 year old college sophomore Robert Burgunder to death in the state’s lethal gas chamber for the murder of Phoenix salesman Jack Peterson. Burgunder’s defense sought insanity and argued parental neglect. Burgunder fled after luring Peterson to a desert car demonstration and was captured in Tennessee.
