Body Of Young Woman Found Near Roadside
Elmira New York July 6 a woman's body about 25 was found near the city outskirts within 25 feet of the highway. The head showed crushing and strangulation with a rope noose. Coroner Bowie said she was killed by a heavy instrument and dragged through bushes along the highway.

County Pupils Pass Final Exams in Grade Schools

Bradford pa July 6 the Tidewater Oil company announces a 13 cent barrel increase for Bradford Allegheny Field crude oil raising the price to 1.70 while other Pennsylvania grades gain 10 cents. Bradford Allegheny crude drops to 1.27 at the low ebb with a 6.10 level in 1922 and new prices list various grades from 1.37 to 1.70 in different lines.
