Sudden Death of Aged Man Near Simpson
Franklin Pierce Garrett aged 70 died at the Calvn Overfield home in Simpson after an attack of heart disease. He had lived with Ira Greathouse and visited the Overfield family frequently. He collapsed while in a chair soon after arriving. A carpenter by trade and longtime resident, he is survived by three brothers and one sister. Funeral services set for Thursday at 11 am at Simpson Methodist Episcopal Church with Rev. C Fr Meredith officiating. Interment in Simpson cemetery.
