Health and Safety Group Meet Tonight in Taylor County
The final session of the current Health and Safety course in M C A rooms will be held tonight at 7 30 p m. Merritt Peatier of Clarksburg leads sessions for Taylor County District Boy Scouts of America. All Scout Leaders are asked to meet at the YMCA rooms Thursday evening for an organizational meeting to elect district officers and set 1944 objectives, with a progress report on 1943.

Jefferson Kuhn Dies of Pneumonia at 83
Jefferson Davis Kuhn 83 of route 3 died at home after a long illness from pneumonia. Born October 3 1860 in Marion county, he lived 27 years in the county. He married twice, both wives deceased. Survivors include two children Edward Kuhn and Mrs Maude Harris, one sister Mrs Bernie Peters, 51x grandchildren. A farmer and Methodist, funeral tomorrow at 2 pm at the home with Rev.
