West Virginia extra session eyed for adjournment soon
Charleston February 27 The West Virginia legislature eyed an end to the extra session with adjournment likely Friday evening or Saturday morning as the general appropriation bill consumed much time. A Senate bill by Senator Miller would shift license year from May 1 to July 1, aiming to offset delays from earlier licensing laws and revenue provisions. The Senate could adjourn shortly after passage while the House, delayed by routine business, awaited the license bill and a push to change grant timing for saloon licenses.
