In Raiford Florida Franklin Pierce McCall was executed in the electric chair for the kidnapping and death of five year old James Bailey Cash Jr at Princeton last May. The 11 08 a m electrocution followed last minute appeals to the US Supreme Court which were denied. McCall admitted stealing $10000 ransom but claimed the boy died accidentally during a struggle. His wife visited him in the cell before the execution.
