Homemaking as a societal foundation for educated women
Dr. Binder argues that higher domestic science education signals a shift in society toward scientifically managed homes. He asserts the home remains society’s foundation, welcoming women with college degrees to lead in cooking, cleanliness, child care, and health, while not abandoning expert involvement. The trend supports women as capable homemakers rather than drudges, shaping future manhood and womanhood.
