Explosion at Carl Johnsons garage causes heavy damage
An explosion and fire at Carl Johnsons garage located at 820 West Main Street around 11 55 am yesterday caused about 3000 in damages. The blast from a gasoline tank in a 1941 Chevrolet sedan welding by Johnson blew out rear windows and scorched rafters. The building owned by Charles and Francis Warder sustained 1600 to 1800 in further damage.
