Blaze Claims Five Victims In West 73rd Street Fire
Five people died at dawn when a fire swept a West 73rd Street rooming house. Four perished inside the four story brownstone and one man, August Frank, 43, leaped from a third floor window as escape was cut off. Riverside Plaza hotel detective Chester Morash raised the alarm after hearing screams.
