Grafton Jawgees Report West Side Bus Service Plans
Grafton Junior Chamber of Commerce members met Leroy Kinter of Grafton Transportation to hear possible West Side bus schedules for a Pottery route. Despite 1,400 signers on a petition, no definite plan until next week as only one extra bus exists and repairs loom. The group aims for a trial run before Christmas and discussed staffing needs. Camden Uhl noted members will help Salvation Army with Christmas kettles Saturday and a public address setup near two 5 and 10 cent stores with a collection stand at the Recreation Center. John Sayres became secretary, replacing Robert Burtoft who resigned for Columbus.
