City Receives 40000 For Hospital Bonds From Sinking Fund
Mayor P F Gillispie received a 40000 check from the sale of two percent municipal hospital bonds to the West Virginia Sinking Fund commission. The money was paid to the mayor City Commissioner Harley C Hall er City Attorney H R Warder and Chief A E Lockard in Charleston. The mayor refused further comment on hospital progress and promised a big news story this week. Voters last August authorized the city to extend its levy for three years and issue 40000 in bonds.
