Welfare Group Meeting at St John’s Methodist Church
The Welfare Apartment of the Grafton Woman's club met yesterday afternoon at St John’s Methodist Church in the lecture rooms. Mrs Walter Beall chaired the department and introduced program chair Mrs J M Riffee who presented Miss Mary Forcello a talented local soprano in the solo Jest Bambina Yon. A quartet Frances Leonard Naomi Robinson Wayne Daugherty and Bill Coffman then sang Christmas carols. A social hour followed and tea was served to a large group.

Grafton WSCS Meets at Flemington Church
The Grafton Zone of the Woman's Society of Christian Service met at Flemington Methodist Church from 10 AM to 3 PM. Rev G H Snider led devotions with a hymn and Beatitudes reading, Rev E C Zinn led prayers, Barbara Stuart sang, and Mrs Wells welcomed guests. Nine of twelve societies were represented with 26 from Flemington and various others. Emphasis was on youth and missionary education through Youth Fellowship, planning a Watch Night service on December 31.
