A 1927 Chevrolet coupe owned by Hoy Utz of 153 street was stolen Thursday evening from in front of Graf ma Drug & Chemical Company on West Main street. Utz, employed at a fountain, left the car parked early evening and did not miss it until about seven. Police were notified but no reliable clues have been obtained.

Henrietta Shackelford aged 95 passed away at her daughter Mrs J L Menear’s home near Thornton on the Thornton Evansville pike. She had lived with her daughter for fifteen years and died of senility after a brief illness. Born April 26 1838 in Haymond Settlement she was 95 years 8 months and 4 days old.
