Grafton City Council Estimates Current Levy Need
At a special session in Grafton on August 11 1908 the council led by Mayor Kenny prepared an estimate of the municipal levy for the current year. It itemizes distributions for debt, sinking fund, salaries, police, fire, streets, water works, and utilities totaling 58050 08 with a 25 cent levy per one hundred dollars of valuation. The council plans to meet August 25 to hear citizen objections and finalize the levy.
