J Terrill of Clarksburg was named chairman of the general roads committee of the Upper Monongahela Valley Association at a 10 county meeting held yesterday at the Hotel Grafton. Wayne K. Pritt of Parsons was chosen vice chairman and Paul E. Amos of Fairmont was elected secretary. The meeting was called by Ray R. Horner, Clarksburg UMWA chairman. Richmond Virginia is in the grip of an infantile paralysis epidemic with 15 new cases today centered in Albermarle county eight cases in Charlottesville five scattered in the county and three in Roanoke. Clyde Sharp, 21, confessed to killing and robbing his grandmother Mrs Jennie Sharp 73 and her son William 42 in Dry Branch near Marlinton West Virginia. Bobby Warder Fractured After Auto Strike Near School
Three year old Bobby Warder son of Hugh R. Warder Jr. was struck by a car driven by Russel Butcher on Beech Street near West Side school grounds.
