Funeral Held For Mrs. B Graettinger Pioneer Resident
The community mourns Mrs. B Graettinger a pioneer who died at her daughter J L Mahan’s home after a long illness. Funeral services were conducted at the Catholic church by Rev Father Kelly with a large turnout and burial at the Catholic cemetery. Interment followed a procession from the church. pallbearers were C M Nolan Matt Quinn J J Mahan G C Thompson M L Murphy and C F Leonard. She was born June 6 1842 in Elm Grove Wisconsin and married B Graettinger in Milwaukee in 1864. The couple moved to the area in 1880, raised a large family, and endured the death of Mr. Graettinger in 1900. Mrs Graettinger resided with daughters later, faithful in faith and family devotion. The Times extends sympathy to her sons and daughters as the community recalls her pioneer service.

Death of 16 Year Old Glenn Jackson in Accidental Shooting
Glenn Jackson, 16, son of Roy and Mrs. Jackson of Amery Wisconsin, died Friday from gun shot wounds suffered when a shotgun discharged while he and a companion were leaving a boat. He lived 36 hours after the accident. The blast caused gas infection from shell wads and clothing fragments. Funeral held Sunday. He is survived by his parents two brothers and one sister. Mrs. Jackson is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs I I Noble of this city. Relatives from the Noble and Gardner families attended the funeral. Glenn had recently visited relatives here and was described as a fine promising boy.
