Economic highlights hint at slow recovery with steady demand
The piece notes a calmer business climate with little expectation of sharp upturns or declines. Durable goods lead recovery, steel and metals firm in price, and armament demand fuels orders. Motors expect modest model gains, while power and construction stay strong. Employment rises, agriculture improves countrywide, yet a broader war could rapidly alter the outlook. Urge to own town land surges with town land purchases financed through the land bank and farm loan networks.
