The Emmet county contour plowing contest will be held Saturday September 8 at the Larsen Parish farm half a mile south and two miles west of Wallingford. Plowing begins at 1 30 p m. The Platter couple, married May 28, 1928, reside with two sons Jack and Lowell, attend Bethel Lutheran, and run general livestock and crops while enjoying fishing as a main hobby.
