Train wreck near Livermore claims woman and boy
George McQuillen and Ray Knutson witnessed a derailment at the M. and St. L. depot in Livermore. A woman and her son were killed and sixteen injured as the train left the track, bodies turning black from suffocation. Miss Jennie and Elsie Green, locals, were in a car crash near McHenry North Dakota when their auto turned turtle. Miss Jennie broke an arm and Elsie fractured her nose. The driver sustained a broken collarbone.

Funeral at Ayrshire for John Sherlock
Attendees including Mr. and Mrs. P. Sherlock Mrs. Wm Blom and Miss Mae Boyie attended the funeral of John Sherlock in Ayrshire on Saturday. Sherlock aged 67 died Thursday.
