St Ellen Circle To Meet Wednesday At Immaculate Conception
The St Elen circle of the Immaculate Conception Rosary Society meets Wednesday afternoon October 26 in the church dining hall. Chairladies are Mrs Arnold Girres and Mrs Paul Mahan. Everyone is invited to attend. Embroidery Club Held Recently Mrs Adolph Spies hosted 19 members and friends at her home October 11 with lunch after social time.

Harriet Miller and Ida Whitman returned from Denver after visiting Helen Yeager who is seriously ill. Yeager's daughters stay in Denver. Local trips, hospital admission for Arnold Henningsen, football game attendance, and a Shakespeare Macbeth program at Gradlinger Gym are noted.

Mrs. W. H. Vaughan, 81, of Emmetsburg, died Saturday morning after being struck by a vehicle driven by Mrs. E. L. Roberts, 45, in the East Main Street business district at the Main Broadway intersection.

Harvest Festival at Methodist Church Draws Large Attendance
The Methodist church overflows with worshipers for Harvest Festival services including new members baptism and dedications. A 60 member choir performed while Rev. John Amundsen announced more than 4000 dollars raised for the building fund. Over 800 were served at the smorgasbord with additional meals on Saturday.
