Roes Clayton 82 died Thursday morning October 14 1971 at Holy Family Hospital Estherville after six months of poor health. Funeral held October 9 at United Methodist Church Greettinger Rev Harlan Babcock officiated burial Valley View Cemetery. Born April 16 1889 in Ven Meter to Charles and wife educated in Adel, married February 2 1914 to Fannie Swallow Des Moines. Moved to Palo Alto County in 1917. farmer and long time maintenance worker retired after 23 years. Survived by wife Fannie one daughter Wynette Vasey Greettinger two grandchildren two great grandchildren one brother James Corvallis Oregon and two sisters Alene Charles City and Gamet Indianola.
