Early October Fire Destroys Donlon Estate Home

The Donlon Estate residence in Emmetsburg was badly damaged by fire at dawn Monday after a two hour battle. The gutted house is a total loss though walls stand. Occupants include Nanamaker and Show families. Also notes the Lost Island Lutheran 60th anniversary events and local church assignments. Mrs. Spies dies after three weeks illness. School Lunch Menu For Coming Week
