The Palo Alto and Emmet County boards met in a joint session on September 4 1941 with members J M Robinson E A Harkamp L C Phillips from Palo Alto and E S Camden E J Ellerson and Kenneth Harding from Emmet. Camden was elected chairman and Martin Thompson was named county auditor of Palo Alto. Hearings were set for November 18 1941 on proposed Roads 417 and 418 and for Gravel District 465, with notices to be published. The board adjourned to the auditors’ call.
