Edwin N Daum Dead At Estherville
Edwin N Daum of Estherville died at his home Saturday afternoon after a six week typhoid illness. He had worked with Western Grocery Co of Albert Lea as clerk and traveling salesman before planning to enter an insurance business in Sioux Falls with his brother in law. He is survived by his wife two four year old sons his mother and other relatives. Short funeral services were held in Estherville Monday morning and the remains were taken to Albert Lea for burial.

Morning Passenger Wreck Delays Train On Rock Island Line
A morning northbound passenger train was wrecked between Popejoy and Dows, delaying arrival at Gradttingers by nearly an hour. All coaches derailed except the baggage car, one tipping over. Funeral for Reverend G. W. Ladd Held in Shennandoah
Reverend G. W. Ladd died Friday night at Iowa Methodist Hospital in Des Moines and was laid to rest in a funeral held in Shennandoah. Reverend Geo. W. White D. D. of Estherville and another minister from the conference attended as representatives from the Wenster City conference. The deceased was a member of the conference and passed away after a period of illness.

C W Law of Palo Alto county serves notices on County Auditor O Nonnell alleging his son Marian, a minor, was seriously injured July 3 in an accident on a defective grade known as Price’s Hill about two miles north of Rolfe. The wagon skidded on wash gull road and the boy was thrown from the wagon while traveling with a load of corn.
