Young Couple United In Marriage At Lutheran Church
Mr. Frank W. Christensen and Miss Kida Christine Thomsen were married at 10:00 yesterday morning at the Lutheran church. The couple, attended by Mr. and Mrs. Nels Nelson, celebration followed with a wedding breakfast at the bride’s mother’s home. They will honeymoon in Minnesota and start housekeeping on the groom’s farm west of town after December 10, returning to guests. The bride, daughter of Mrs. John Nelson, is praised for character and grace. the groom, son of Mrs. Lena Christensen, is described as industrious and capable, with war service in France. Accident Struck Man by Morning Passenger Train
I M Carnahan was struck by a bound morning passenger train at the Nouth end of the Grachtinger yard on a Saturday. He walked along the track when the engine hit him, being thrown aside. A warning was given but he misinterpreted it due to a freight on the passing track. Dr P J Hession treated him and he was taken home, badly shaken but likely to recover with no lasting injury. He had lo very clove voll.

Narrow Escape After Collision At Depot Crossing
J W Wizer escaped serious injury when his car collided with a county gravel pit truck near the depot crossing on Saturday forenoon. Mrs Mills’ mother, Mrs Carson, suffered a head injury as the Ford’s wheel, radius rods, fender and lamp were damaged and the truck reportedly crossed the Ford’s side before stopping. The other driver was said to be on the wrong side of the road. Joe Amdahl advertises a December 1 auction selling 69 head of stock, farm machinery, chickens and 20 tons of hay as he quits farming.
