God Is My Co Pilot Col Robert L Scott
A wartime memoir excerpt follows Col Robert L Scott as he trains, seeks combat, and becomes a fighter ace in Burma. From Panama to Kelly Field, Florida to Myitkyina, he ferries four motor bombers, shoots down Japanese aircraft, destroys fuel depots, and reflects on danger, bravado, and duty during a critical Burma campaign. The narrative highlights his flying days in 1942, clashes with enemy air and ground targets, and ties to General Chennault and OSS peers.
