Same Farm for 50 Years Who
Iowa recognizes farm families who have occupied and operated the same farm for fifty years or more. The program, part of the Fiftieth Anniversary Celebration, will issue certificates mailed in June. A list may be posted June 23 at Living History Farm west of Des Moines. Eligible families must have lived on and farmed the land or a substantial part for fifty years or longer on an 80 acre or larger unit.
