Horse Fall Injures 15-Year-Old Rider in Millersburg
Marvin Grimm, 15, of Millersburg broke his foot when the horse he rode fell and his foot was caught beneath the animal. Report says mud on the horse’s hooves may have caused the mishap.

Public vote on county conservation board in Palo Alto Iowa
The Palo Alto County Board of Supervisors approved a measure to create a County Conservation Board under Chapter 111A, 1958, to be voted at the June 6, 1960 primary. Voters will see the proposition on the official ballot with Yes or No boxes, and notice lists Auditor George J. Kleigs as the county official.
