Vernon Vanguards Hold 4 H Meeting at Naig Home
Vernon Vanguards 4 H met at the Naig home on Wednesday May 10 with twenty members and twenty five visitors. The pledge was recited and enrollment blanks filled as delegates were discussed for district camp and Ames 4 H short course. A lively program included songs bingo and performances by Judy Ann Juhl and Terry Juhl while Robert Naig photographed events. A lunch was served by Mrs Elmer Naig and Bennie Christianson filed the club report.

Commencement Plans for 1960 Graettinger High School
The 1960 Graettinger high school events include a May 23 commencement in the gym with 39 graduates led by Dr. M. L. Cushman. May 21 features senior baccalaureate in the high school gym, with a long program of processions, solos, and speeches by Reverend William J. Hansen and others. May 22 hosts class night in the auditorium with various awards and honors.
