Lost Island Club Meeting Highlights and Garden Advice
The Lost Island Woman's Club met at Mrs. Harold Jorgensen's home May 4 with 35 members and guests. The program covered bread and rolls, pest control, fertilizer and seed treatment, plus a plant auction raising $3.15. The group urged tree planting and conservation, while officers were to be elected. The Graettinger Woman's Club met May 21 planning a children's recreation project, book reports, and a year-end buffet. The Twelve Mile Lake 4-H club met May 2 with 12 members, noting braces and fasteners and selecting Robert Ness for Ames short course.
