New Drug Form Tuberculosis Advances Discussed
New tuberculosis treatment drugs were presented at the annual meeting of the Towa Tuberculosis and Health Association in Des Moines. The two day conference, held with the Taw Heart Association and the Towa Trudeau Society, will be open to the public and county TB associations. Dr Otto L Bettag, a graduate of the State University of Iowa and medical director of the Municipal Tuberculosis Sanitarium in Chicago, spoke on the recently announced drugs which may help in treatment though not yet adequately tested.
