Hebo Schierman rises then falls in Villisca church saga
Hebo Schierman alias O'Brien arrived in Villisca last October as a hobo who wowed locals with organ and piano talent at the Presbyterian church. He quickly gained social status and a paying studio, then fled after allegedly forging checks totaling about 300 dollars, cashing them at local businesses and a bank.
