A state wide campaign by the Iowa highway patrol uses unmarked cars to monitor school buses for violations. Billboards across the state display a poster funded by the Iowa Outdoor Advertising Association to warn drivers to stop for halted school buses, under Iowa law.
The note lists causes for plant stress including temperature changes, transplant shock, lighting shifts, overwatering, improper watering, drafts, insects, and fertilizer excess. It also reports Christy Jo Muhthauser, a one year old girl from Maquoketa, having a 3 inch sewing needle removed near a lung via surgery.
