Proposition Accepted for Electric Short Line Railway
Word has it that Milford business leaders accepted the proposition from Minneapolis based Electric Short Line Railway Co. When subscriptions are paid stock certificates will be issued. Preliminary arrangements are closed and grading will begin south from Winsted as spring opens. Poison in the Chicken Strikes Ida Grove Family
Nine people become critically ill after eating home prepared pressed chicken served at dinner with Mrs Zoa Laherten and her children visiting Mr and Mrs Ward Krick. Victims included several in the Krick household and others who shared the meal. The illness occurred rapidly but all were out of danger after hours.
