Graettinger Woman's Club meets at Mrs Paul Stuart home
The Graettinger Woman's Club held its March 2 meeting at Mrs Paul Stuart home with Lois Stuart Deloris Aseburn and Carla Logan as hostesses. Helen Kirkegaard led the flag salute and members answered roll call with a spring tonic. Supt Stuart sang The Sound of Music with Lois Stuart as accompanist. Donna Nelson was elected to membership. Coffee and doughnuts were served. Connie Poland entertained 16 friends for her tenth birthday after school Friday with games and refreshments.

In Palo Alto county the Easter Parade spurs new coats and suits with demonstrations in bound buttonholes welt pockets gussets and linings. Kay Carter departed Sunday for San Diego to join the USS Sylvania after a 10 day stay with his parents following electronics school at Great Lakes. Family and friends from Rolfe gathered in Rohfe Thursday night for the wake of Lowell Strett who died suddenly of a heart attack at a Fort Dodge hospital. He was a machinist and a cousin to several local attendees.
