Proceedings to reclaim $1,000,000 worth of Iowas richest land in OBrien county begin as the government moves to open 322,000 acres in Iowa once held under a Sioux City and St. Paul railroad grant. About 12,000 acres still held by those who bought from the railroad face eviction threats as owners must show cause within sixty days why their patents should not be revoked and land opened to homesteaders.
