Weekend Visitors and Summer Plans Highlight Local Notes

The Olson and Shiley families host relatives and discuss plans including teaching roles, nursing work, and a relocation to Los Angeles for Carnation Company headquarters. A Marion Post Office dog, Don Rubarb, is temporarily grounded after a long career delivering mail, equating to a 90 to 100 year human lifespan.
