Ground Spraying To Begin About 5 30 for Graettinger Insect Control
Graettinger town council arranged with Hi more Nursery to spray the town for mosquitoes tonight using ground sprayers. An exhaust blower on a truck will cover streets and alleys, forcing spray in both directions. Cars should stay off streets to improve effectiveness. Spraying lasts six to eight hours and may be postponed to Friday if weather harms conditions. Ground spraying is promoted as more effective and economical than aerial methods, which were used last year but blocked this year by regulation.
