Centennial tale of Frank James visit to Palo Alto county
A 87 year old recalls a 1870s stop at P. L. Duhn’s farm five miles south of Graettinger when Frank James and a Cole brother traded muskrat hides for 13 cents a piece. They paid with a $100 bill and gold and silver, dined, and rode on toward Northfield, Minnesota, later linked to the famous bank raid.

Woman badly burned as nylon nightgown catches fire

George Sweet Players to Tour Graettinger and Vicinities
