Death of Atty. John F. Sullivan in Minnesota

Obituary notes the death of Atty. John F. Sullivan, 65, of Bis marck North Dakota from a heart attack at a summer cottage in Detroit Lakes Minnesota. Funeral services were held in Bismarck with burial there. Survived by wife two sons and three daughters and brothers in Milwaukee and Mandan. Born November 29 1884 in Estherville. Attended University of Minnesota Law School practiced in Mandan and Bigmarck. Former general counsel for Soo Line and Northern Pacific, former county attorney, member of Knights of Columbus and Elks. The Times extends sympathy to the family.

Remains Of Mrs. Abbie J. Briggs Laid To Rest

Mrs. Abbie J. Briggs 80 died June 1950 at Holy Family hospital Exs therville after months of illness. Funeral Thursday at home and Methodist church with Rev. Arthur Rasmussen officiating. Burial Valley View cemetery. Survivors include daughters Mrs Mary Anderson of Portland and Mrs Vina Richardson of Graettinger, two sons died in infancy. Memorials total $70.75 for a church building fund. Several siblings and grandchildren noted. The obituary highlights her church and community service and lists pallbearers.
