Impressive First Communion at Immaculate Conception Church

At Immaculate Conception Church last Sunday, twenty one girls in white gowns and veils and thirty boys in confirmation attire approached the Altar for their first communion. Rev Father Kelly led high mass as the ceremony marked a significant milestone for the young parishioners.

Marriage of Bearnet Peter gon and Alvion Lammers at Emmetsburg

The marriage occurred in Timimetsburg on Monday at 10 o clock. Mayor Duffy performed the ceremony. Relatives and friends attended. A noon dinner was served at the bride’s parents home ten miles east of Grasttinger. They will reside in Terrill. A large evening dance followed and numerous presents were exchanged.

Loss of Two Year Old Boy in Tragic Illness

William Newton aged two years three months, youngest child of Mr and Mrs Ty Nallson, died Thursday morning after a three weeks illness of brain fever following measles. Funeral services were held at home Friday afternoon and conducted by Rev Rundell, after which the body was taken to St Johns near Ringsted for burial. Obituary notes the family’s bereavement.
