Brother of Mrs Peter Miller Dies in Minnesota

Andrew Martin Anderson 70 brother of Mrs. Peter Miller of Graettinger died May 7 at his home in Straight River Township near Park Rapids Minnesota. He was born November 18 1882 in Hayland Iowa and married Hilda Johnson of Emmetsburg in 1923. He farmed in Ruthven Montana North Dakota and Park Rapids during his health decline. Services were at Calvary Lutheran church Hubbard cemetery interment. Survivors include two sons two daughters ten grandchildren fourteen great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Local attendees were Mrs Peter Miller Mr and Mrs Alfred Wichman and Mrs A N Christiansen.

Mystery Farm 24 Julius Daiker Farm

Mystery Farm No 24 is the Mr and Mrs Julius Daiker farm four miles south of Graettinger. They have lived on the farm for six years and it was formerly the Henry Westergaard farm. The Daikers built a new quonset building and added fencing improvements. Mr and Mrs Ted Marx operate the farm. Mrs Marx is a daughter of the Daikers. General farming includes dairy cows on the 139 acre property.
