A rain deluge east of Graettinger flooded a large farm area between noon and 2 30 Memorial day. About 50 percent of Sam Watson’s quarter section and at least 200 acres of the Vanderby farm were underwater. Rain had already drenched the area, with locals visiting the flooded district over the weekend. Some north of Graettinger and westward areas also received moisture, unusual given nearby floods.
