Former Estherville man commits suicide in Mason City
C. E. Herrick, once manager of the Bradford land office in Estherville and a traveling salesman for a silo firm, killed himself in a Mason City hotel room last Thursday. He left letters to his wife and to C. C. Bradford, with $50, found with a pocketknife used to sever an artery. He was about 45, previously tied to Storm Lake in 1928.
